Summary
Cartridge heaters are a type of industrial-grade heater consisting of a tubular shaped heating element. Each unit is designed to house an internal thermocouple for precise temperature control. Many of our partners offer graphite coated cartridge heaters, facilitating easy installation and removal. The wiring is coated in Teflon and sealed using epoxy or silicone, preventing moisture or contamination from outside substances. We offer a variety of cartridge heaters used for bag sealing, hydraulic or motor oil, gear boxes, water based operations, and food or laboratory equipment. Units are made with stainless steel braided leads to endure mechanical stress or using BX cabling for advanced protection. Cartridge heaters are capable of reaching temperatures up to 1400 °F depending on the material, watt density, and fit selection.. Thermal Devices is a nationally recognized provider of premium cartridge heaters. Contact a Thermal Devices’ Sales Engineer for more information! Or, request a quote.
