Product Description

Durex Industries manufactures rugged process duct air heaters that are well suited for the needs of many heavy duty industrial applications. Incoloy® tubular heater elements for long life and durability. Durex constructs high tensile strength cages to support heater elements in larger, higher temperature units to ensure proper air heater performance. The optimal sheath material and maximum allowable watt densities are used to minimize size, weight, and footprint. Replaceable heating element designs, as well as modular “bank” type designs, are available. Thermal Devices offers the following Durex Duct Heaters:

High Temperature Process Duct Air Heaters

• Process air temperatures to 1200°F (650°C)
• Watt densities to 40 W/in2
• High temperature 0.430″ Incoloy^® heater elements
• Silicone resin sealed elements
• Steel and stainless steel construction
• UL^® component recognized
• NEMA 1 enclosure standard
• Meets NEC wiring requirements

Medium Temperature Process Duct Air Heaters

• Process air temperatures to 750°F (400°)
• Watt densities to 23W/in2
• High temperature 0.430″ Incoloy^® heater elements
• Steel construction
• UL^® component recognized
• NEMA 1 enclosure standard
• Meets NEC wiring requirements
