The Slide Products 470-1000 Purge-Atory Purging Compound, 1000lb. Gaylord from Thermal Devices, an authorized Slide Products distributor. Slide’s most heavy-duty purging compound. It can be used with most resins, but is especially recommended for use with gas emitting resins such as Delrin & Acetal. Purge-Atory requires no mixing or preparation time, and with operating temperatures of 370 – 610 F, it can be used in a number of purging applications. Formulated with a SAN resin carrier, it is safe to purge right through the mold, saving time, material and money. All ingredients are GRAS rated so it is safe to use for food packaging applications. Purge-Atory is superb for use with injection molding, extrusion and blow molding.
